Beautiful house in a quiet location. We had two weeks to enjoy this beautiful house with large fenced garden and pool. The homeowner and his father came every other day to clean the pool and brought vegetables from their own garden or homemade wine, which they stored under the house. Both are very friendly and engaging. The homeowner himself speaks enough English to allow good communication and he can be reached by Whatsapp for questions.The area is very beautiful, but it's house is secluded on a mountain in a small hamlet with some other houses, which are inhabited or used as vacation homes. The nearest town of Fabriano is about a half hour drive away. People generally speak only Italian and it is not touristy. You have to be aware of this. If you make a conscious choice to do so, this house will suit you perfectly. The house itself is beautiful and cozy. The fenced garden is ideal if you have dogs and/or young children. For very young children, you have to be careful with the pool. They can go right there. The house is suitable for four people rather than six and the bathrooms are not very practical. Air conditioning is not there, but really not necessary. The house stays cool if you keep windows and shutters closed. If you are looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings and don't mind having to drive a bit for some entertainment, then this house comes highly recommended. | LMV3520 |
