We had a nice vacation here and can definitely recommend this house. We had a wonderful week in this villa. It is a beautiful spacious, modern house; very clean and maintained with great care. The bedrooms are on the first floor which is probably wonderfully cool during the summer months. During our stay in late April it was still a bit chilly but there is self-heating so that was nice. The garden is very nice and pleasant. Beautiful planting, completely fenced in so it feels sheltered and safe and the pool is large and clean. Nice covered terrace and nice outdoor kitchen. With very small children, the stairs inside and the non-enclosed pool may be less than ideal but our children (ages 4-10) had a great time. The garden does border a road but because it is fenced and sheltered we did not find this very disturbing. The owner is very helpful and had a nice welcome pack of local produce for us.There is a nice little beach within walking distance; quite quiet and ideal with (small) children. The beach bar there is also highly recommended. Furthermore, there is not much within walking distance except a few pizzerias (which we have not tried) but the house is a good base for visiting Trapani (incl salt pans), Marsala, San Vito Lo Capo and especially the nearby Grotta Mangiapane are highly recommended. | SIV0990 |
